This has absolutely nothing to do with anything.  Okay, it does.  When you are a connoisseur of chocolate cake such as I am, you are generally also interested in activities to bun it off.  I have been thinking about buying training wheels for a very long time, but have been disappointed with my choices of pink or something made for a 10″ bike.   Why?  I have always been a slight bit of a tomboy, so preffered red with ladybugs on something rather than pink.   Oh, you mean why the whole training wheel think in the first place?  The last time I road a two wheeler, I was in sixth grade and took such a bad fall that I didn’t get up again.    Time passed and banana seat bikes went way out of style.  They did so probably because parents complained that two kids tried to ride the same bike at once.

trainingday.gifLet’s get back on track here.  Among all the discount bicycle parts that Sagecycles.com has, I found some real, honest to goodness, Made in the USA training wheels.  When I saw that I could get them for 16-20″ bikes, I jumped for joy.  Then I read that the weight capacity was 100 lbs.   Well, I am just a tiny dollop over that.  Of course, you wouldn’t expect me to ride a bike without clothing, would you?  That weigh a whole lot, particularly in the winter, but then I can’t ride in the winter without snow tires.

Now that I look at them, maybe i could just order half a pair and make a pizza cutter out of it.  Maybe not.  In the meantime, I am going to see what I can think of to reinforce them for use with someone of my size, or maybe I should just suck it up and ride the gosh darn thing without them.
