I don't know how well I am "coping"...but I guess I have enough people fooled that I am :)

Heather...I don't know if "minds" would be the word...I think he just just knows that I would never intentionally try to give him an upset stomach. Or he just thinks its funny becase he won't be the one eating it.

It's quite fascinating. Your posts are really interesting. To have a good blog you should not only to add something, but do it with your soul. You cope with it.

That is too funny! I guess your hubby didn't mind too much. I have several stories like this, involving recipes described to me by my dad, and my interpretation of those instructions, to very odd results. Like the time he (jokingly) suggested I substitute Cheerios for bran flakes in a bran muffin recipe. I was about 13 years old, and I thought he was being serious. So I put whole Cheerios into the recipe, which was to be "baked" in the microwave. They came out like rubbery disks. I ate them anyway, but they looked very funny. He said the Cheerios looked like eyes staring out from the pale pucks. We always get a laugh when we re-tell that story. :-)
